Congratulations to the Junior American team winning the State Tournament for the second year in a row! The team finished second in the league, and went on to win all the way to the championship round at the state tournament undefeated. They lost the first game 12-2 and battled back in the second to a 7-6 victory. Great Job players and coaches!
The Senior American team finished 2nd in league play and advanced to the district tournament. The Saxons beat Stayton, Dallas and Central with a walk off hit by Jordan Knoll in the bottom of the 7th for the win and the district title. They will start play at the State tournament on July 24th in Corvallis at Williams Field, 6:00pm.
